250-Watt Tungsten Halogen Modeling Lamps
For sale are brand new 250-Watt tungsten halogen modeling lamps for Norman, Speedotron, Dyna-Lite and any other studio flash heads that use 2
50 watt modeling bulbs with two-pin bayonet-mount bases
.
Check your application to make sure these bulbs will work with your equipment. These modeling lamps are new. The sale price is for two (2) bulbs. Buy extras and have spares on-hand for replacements in case a bulb fails during a critical photo shoot. Having spares readily available can help avoid embarrassing delays during a photo shoot.
Caution!!!
Here’s a quick note about handling modeling light bulbs. Do not touch any part of the bulbs’ glass with your fingers.
The oils from your skin will shorten the life of the bulbs and could cause the bulb to explode.
Use the plastic they’re wrapped in or cotton gloves to handle the bulbs while you install them in their holders. Do not leave the wrapper on the bulbs when they are turned on. The bulbs get very hot and will melt the plastic onto the glass. It will be a big mess to clean.
If you accidentally touch a bulb with your fingers, clean it thoroughly with a soft cloth and denatured alcohol before you begin to use it.
Do not use soap and water, they can leave a film. Also, to avoid overheating your flash head when using a snoot, soft box, diffusion dome, filter or any other light modifier that blocks airflow, either add a fan to your flash head or turn off the modeling light after you have aimed the light and completed setting up.
